Gender-Based Violence Across All Borders

On June 3, 2023, the African Women’s Alliance of Waterloo Region held a conference on Gender-Based Violence through an Afrocentric lens.

There was so much to learn from several organizations, including those that assist women preparing to leave their abusive relationships or have already left.

It was an exciting and informative session.
